Veteran Singer Phil Collins Pissed Over Adele's Snub

"I've just started to work with Adele. I wasn't actually too aware [of her work]. I live in a cave, but she's achieved an incredible amount. I really love her voice. I love some of this stuff she's done, too."

These were the words of veteran singer Phil Collins earlier this year when he hinted he's been contacted by Adele to feature on her next album. But sadly, more than 5months after, Adele never reached back and he's not done the song yet!

The famous singer has expressed disappointment over the Grammy winner for allegedly kicking him off her forthcoming album – 24 - without hinting him about it.

Speaking to Q Magazine, Collins explained: "She's a slippery little fish... She got hold of me and asked if I would write with her. She gave me a piece of music to finish and at first I didn't know if I'd failed the audition as I didn't hear back from her.”

The 63-year-old revealed that the Someone Like You hitmaker reached out to him earlier this year to help complete a new track she was working on, believed to be for her highly-anticipated third album. But he's not heard from her since then eventhough her album is reportedly ready!

When he finally got in touch with the 26-year-old mother of one, she blamed her lack of contact on her hectic personal life and son, Angelo.
Phil said: "She said, 'No, no, I'm moving house and the baby's taking up a lot of my time, I'm not actually doing anything at the moment.' And now I've heard there's a 29 [sic] coming out. I'm not on it, I know that."

However, a representative for Adele has refused to comment.

Of course, the snub will come as a blow to the Can't Hurry Lovelegend, who heaped praise on the singer when he confirmed their collaboration earlier.
