Naydu is out with his new single titled OVERDOSE! We know the summer hasn’t started until we hear a BANGER from Naydu; an Atlanta-based Afrobeat extraordinaire who kicked off his musical career in the early months of 2019 with hit songs like Shout, Ifoma and Jiji Party. He also dropped a pandemic single in 2020 called Professor Jaiye (meaning professor of fun) which he acclaims to have hit a milestone in streaming.
With only two years in the music industry, he is definitely making in headway to the limelight. Naydu was born and raised in Lagos, Surulere to be precise, always a music head, DJ-ed in his university days and finally decided to get into music because the music kept calling him. In his own words “I was in Las Vegas towards the end of 2018 when I decided to get into music, so I wrote the song Vegas to Lagos”.
We expect to hear more exceptional sounds and hit tracks from Naydu as he stays recording and working; collaborating with the industry's big names. Blessing kpokpo ( Nee Okwumabua ) is happily married with kids and has experienced grace over 25years. Being a medical imaging specialist (Medical Radiograher)for about two (2) decades and recently moved to the UK to continue my career pursuit as God would have it.
Little did I know What God has in-store, indeed eyes have not seen.. the things God has prepared for those that love him.
Singing has been something I enjoy and I've sang in church from my youth. However, I never imagined I could write songs, I marvel as I hear those heavenly melodies myself...... they are indeed incredible!
I'll save the story for a later time.
Born into the family of 7, I lost my Dad (Bennett Okwumabua an ex- Airman from Delta state) at age 9 on the 4th of December 1990 but found a father of all fathers.... 'The Lord of host, the father of the fatherless'.
I had a struggled as a child to survive amongst several life battles I faced but the voice of my new found Father was STRONG and STILL, calming all my fears and I felt his warm arms at uncertain times.
I am persuaded God has chosen and called me to his service of liberating souls bound by all sort of life challenges through SONGS accompanied by His WORDS. I have gone through fire and water myself but by His grace.... The Master of all masters, Master of ocean, seas, and skies brought me out with an outstretched arm.
Although it took me long recognizing God's call on my life...... because I never saw myself in this big picture but God: the qualifier of the unqualified, made me go through fire, purging me and commissioned me in the fullness of time. He that called me has promised to back me up.
God has now put heavenly melodies in my mouth for his glorious church as well as those whom He will draw to himself through this ministry in songs in this endtime.
I trust His Everlasting arms all the way to do what He Said!
May the Almighty God quench your thirst as you drink from the fountain of life.
