Beyonce and Rihanna to be studied as a course in the University of Austin, Texas

University of Austin, Texas has introduced a new course based on superstars Beyonce and Rihanna.
The course is titled "Beyoncé Feminism, Rihanna Womanism" and will kick-off in the school's 2015 spring semester.
According to Associate Professor Natasha Tinsely, who works in the Department of African and African Diaspora Studies at the University:
"the celebrity course will focus on how the lyrics, music videos, and actions of these women express various aspects of black feminism such as violence, economic opportunity, sexuality, standards of beauty, and creative self-expression."
She adds that she hopes the course will shed light on the role black feminism plays in popular culture as well as everyday life.
Do you think Nigerian Celebrities should also be studied in schools? Maybe we should study tuface and name it 'tuface reproductivity'
