The Emir of Kano and former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has reconciled with President Goodluck Jonathan.
Sanusi visited the president on Thursday, October 30, in Abuja in a meeting which was arranged for the purpose of their reconciliation.
Jonathan was said to have announced that he had nothing against the Emir while Sanusi also said that he had let go of the past after which they reportedly had a private meeting.
The duo were locked in a fierce battle which culminated in Sanusi’s sack after he accused the government of diverting $20 billion in oil revenue.
Other dignitaries at the meeting include Vice President Namadi Sambo, National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, Attorney General, Mohammed Adoke, and the Foreign Affairs Minister, Aminu Wali.
