Some members of terrorist sect, Boko Haram are said to have abducted 40 women from Wagga village in Adamawa state.
The militants invaded the village on Saturday, October 18 despite a ceasefire agreement reached with the Nigerian government, PM news reports.
The recent abduction was reportedly confirmed by one Enoch Mark, whose daughter and niece are among the missing Chibok girls.
The
schoolgirls were kidnapped on April 14 and the negotiations between
Boko Haram and the Nigerian government were also expected to result in
the release of the girls.
However, the battle between both sides is still ongoing and it is doubtful if a ceasefire is indeed in force.
