Was Pop Singer OmoAkin Really Attacked By Animals?

There is an unconfirmed report that upcoming pop singer OmoAkin was attacked by animals at a resort in Lagos. The bizarre story which was posted by Linda Ikeji, says that the act was mauled by animals at Omu Resort.

According to a press release statement by his management"OmoAkin hospitalized after he survived multiple animal attack at Omu Resort, Lagos,  Lekki Express way."

Could this be a publicity stunt from the act just to gain attention? It sounds kind of strange that animals would attack him like this? What type of animals by the way? Details around this incident are too blurry.
