Soul singer, Nneka has denied speculations that she indulges in substances before hitting the stage.
Speaking exclusively to Pulse, the "Heartbeat" singer said you don't need to be high to go on stage or write a good song. If anything, the best form of highness is being clear and able to feel a performance.

People take substances because they can't stand reality, because feeling a 100% is painful. The realest highness is being clear."
