Following a meeting between the president of the Confederation of African Football, CAF and president of Equatorial Guinea; the country has been selected as host for next year’s nations cup, replacing Guinea
CAF President, Issa Hayatou had assured anxious speculators that host for the tournament would be sorted before the week runs out and after the tete-a-tete on Thursday, they reached the decision on Friday
French media, L’Equipe first made the announcement, moments later, it was confirmed by CAF itself
