The government of Adamawa State has imposed an 8-hour curfew on all area of the state following a recent increase in terrorist attacks.
The curfew was announced by the state government on Saturday, November 1 and will run from 9pm to 5am daily.
A press statement was issued to this effect and was signed by the Secretary to the State government, Hon Ibrahim Welye.
Residents of the state who provide essential services are however exempted from the curfew as long as they have a permit.
The statement stipulated that “all citizens and security operatives are please advised to comply strictly with these directives.”
Boko Haram recently invaded Mubi town in the state forcing residents to flee for their lives.
