A 29-year-old man hit by a shard of glass at the VIP Room at 409 W. 13th St. was in stable condition with an eye injury at Beth Israel Hospital, the sources said.
The man told cops Brown and his entourage started arguing with another group and that they were throwing bottles at each other, police sources said. One of the bottles broke and a piece of glass went into the man’s left eye, the sources said. The man told cops a doctor told him he may lose vision in the eye, the sources said.

Cops were investigating, but there were no immediate arrests. The sources said cops were looking at surveillance video.

The fight is just the latest in a string of incidents that have plagued the “Forever” singer, who was just released from a Los Angeles jail in June.
On the eve of the 2009 Grammy Awards, Brown assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna. The couple reunited in 2012, but that was followed by multiple splits.
After he was convicted, Brown’s reputation quickly plummeted and trouble has followed him since.

He got into hot water in 2012 for a violent brawl with Drake over Rihanna at a SoHo nightclub that did serious damage to the establishment.
Brown's probation for the 2009 RiRi beating was revoked in October after his arrest on an assault charge for allegedly attacking a man outside a W Hotel in Washington. He was eventually locked up on March 14 in Los Angeles.
Released in June, Brown threw a party in Hollywood in August where gunshots were fired and Death Row Records founder Suge Knight was injured.
