Uche Blasts Nigerian Coach Stephen Keshi

Nigerian striker Ike Uche and Ahmed Musa

Following allegations that he would not agree to play for the Nigeria unless he was begged, Villareal striker Ike Uche has lambasted such accusation.see his own side of the story below...

The player who was left out of the country’s train to the World Cup faulted chief coach Stephen Keshi’s claims
Keshi said in a press conference on Wednesday: "He (Uche) was supposed to be part of the team that is presently in camp (for Nigeria vs. Congo AFCON qualifier) but he said we must beg him first to play for Nigeria because he was left out of some competitions but I can’t beg anyone to play for Nigeria, impossible. That’s why he is not here.”

Uche in his reaction tweeted: "It's an honour to play for Nigeria. I don't expect to be begged or given special treatment. I'm available when/if considered for selection.’’
