extravagantly gifted former Golden Eaglets star.
Pellegrini is suitably impressed and predicts a big future for Iheanacho.
"Kelechi is just 17 years old and he’s a very important player for
us in the future,” Pellegrini said in his post-match press conference.
The former Real Madrid trainer however cautioned the youngster
to keep his feet firmly on the ground and remain focused if he is to
achieve his potentials in the game.
"He (Iheanacho) demonstrated (on Thursday) yesterday what he can do in
the future. It depends on the way he takes this profession, but I think
he’s a good talent,” he said.
Iheanacho has never been capped by Nigeria at senior level.
