Famous fast rising comedian Bash set to stage first standup comedy show #D'GOOD D'BASH & D'FUNNY

Fast rising Nigerian comedian Hammed Basheer popularly known as Bash, is set to stage the maiden edition of his standup comedy show D'Good, D'Bash and D'Funny on Sunday, June 5, at the Muson Centre, Onikan Lagos.

Music artists who are warming up to thrill fans at the show includes, Reminisce, Vector, Olamide, Adekunle Gold, 9ice GT Guitarman, Terry G, Falz among others while ribs cracking jokes will be delivered by  Bovi, Ali Baba, Klint D Drunk, Okey Bakassi, Seyi Law, Gordon, Koffi, Lolo, Julius Agwu, Akpororo, Yaw, Koffi, Jedi to mention but few.

El-Rufai, Amaju, Mikel, Siasia Win Big At Bet9ja Pitch Awards

All eyes were trained on the ancient city of Kaduna this weekend has it hosted not only the AFCON qualifying match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Pharaohs of Egypt, but also played host to the crème de la crème of Nigerian football locally and internationally at the Bet9ja Nigerian Pitch Awards.

Held at the prestigious Hotel Seventeen in Kaduna, the evening was made significant as critical players, shapers and influencers in Nigerian Football were honored and recognized by their peers.

Executive Governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El Rufai, who was awarded the Special Achievement Award, received his award from current NFF Chairman Amaju Pinnick. The Governor said he was 'humbled' at such recognition, and after citing Kaduna's great contribution to Nigerian football in terms of its talent, he pledged support "for any organization aiming to grow the sport of football in the state."

Currently most capped player and Super Eagles Captain Mikel Obi also received the Player of the Year award, which was presented by Title Sponsors Bet9ja, represented by the Chairman, Mr. Kunle Soname.

Mr. Kunle Soname, Chairman Bet9ja, had this to say about the event.

"Bet9ja is delighted to be associated with an award ceremony, that rewards excellence, skills and hard work in football. Bet9ja Supports Nigerian As He Breaks Guinness World Record

As if giving away N36 million in a ground shattering payout the previous week was not enough, Bet9ja help set a world record yesterday as they supported Nigerian footballer Harrison Chinedu's dream in his bid to break the Guinness World record of "farthest distance walked with a ball on the head".

The ball juggler eventually broke the record yesterday as he set out from the Redeemed Camp grounds on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, along with various media houses and representatives from the sports ministry at about 8am in the morning.

His journey took him through the central district of Lagos and eventually ended at the National stadium in Surulere, after which he still required to run around the stadium a total of 22 laps to break and set a new record.

Bet9ja Brand Custodian, Mr. Tunji Meshioye, had this to say: "This is what Bet9ja is all about. Supporting and rewarding the passion of our own homegrown talent. It takes a lot of passion and commitment for Chinedu to achieve what he has achieved today and we are delighted to be part of this historic moment."

With his new record of 48.04km, Harrison Chinedu successfully broke the previous record set of 45. 64km that was set in 2014 by Indian soldier Naib Subedar Azad Singh.
